Programs available at Moored Beauty Schools

Moored Beauty Schools specialize our curriculum to meet the needs of students who are job and career oriented. The men and women who make up our student body receive training and practical experience which qualifies them as outstanding candidates for many cosmetology related careers. In addition, our courses are directed toward helping students develop desirable work habits and attitudes with respect to health, sanitation, and safety. The training also helps students develop advanced technical, business, and people skills which encourage self-reliance and readiness to assist others with an ethical approach to the profession.

Cosmetology – SOC Code (39-5012.00)

The emphasis of our cosmetology program is from the latest techniques in hair, skin care, make-up and nails. You will combine your natural talents with our excellent training program in order to receive your certification as a cosmetologist. Our thorough cosmetology program includes studies in salon management, nail technology, skincare, hair coloring, hair cutting, perming, hair relaxing, hair styling, anatomy and physiology, chemistry, and client communication. Once licensed, our graduates work in all areas of the beauty industry. Our graduates work as stylists, makeup artists, educators, colorists, estheticians, nail technicians, and salon owners.

Cosmetology Instructor – SOC Code (25-1194.00)

We teach the full instructor course for able persons wanting to enter the field of Cosmetology Instruction. This will enable qualified and gifted Cosmetology professionals to impart their skills to the next generation of beauty, hair, and nail creators.

Class Schedules: Monday – Friday from 9 am – 1 pm for the 1st 350 hours of 1500 hour program.

If you stay on that schedule, 18 months to graduate.

At 350 hours, an option available to go from 9 – 4:30 and graduate in 12 months.
